A house done by Alvar Aalto in Tammisaari, Finland, this model was done
as part of a study abroad program with the studio of 16 working together to
measure and document the house. This was done over four days where we
got to know the entire house as well as the community that it is apart of. Broken
into different groups, my group was tasked with documenting the sauna.
The studio then went into modeling the house from the measurements and the
model was a group of five. Responsible for the fences on the site, the laser
cutter as well as hand cutting was used to make the fences.
